Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced electromechanical technician to assist our engineering and production teams. This role will provide support for the development, testing and assembly of our all-electric outboard motors and high voltage energy storage systems. Tasks include assembling systems according to work instructions, designing and building fixtures and jigs, assisting with product testing and validation and conducting hands-on mechanical and electrical troubleshooting and repairs.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Assisting the mechanical and production engineers with mechanical design and assembly tasks.
- Completing build sequences within the production work cell
- Installing and performing diagnostic tests on electro-mechanical systems.
- Troubleshooting mechanical malfunctions and breakdowns, as well as performing repairs.
- Documenting processes and maintaining basic records.
- Monitoring the availability of parts and replenishing supplies.
- Maintaining a tidy work environment and adhering to industry regulations.
Qualifications & Experience:
- A minimum of three years' experience as an electromechanical technician in a related industry.
- Knowledge of mechanical engineering designs and installations.
- Proficiency in mechanical design and testing software.
- Exceptional analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Great organizational and time management abilities.
